Turning Point is a church family with a passion for helping people find their place in God’s story. Our dream is to build a Christ-centered church filled with changed lives.
Below you'll find information about who we are and what we believe as a church:
To be a church family in which each of us is continually transforming into the fullness of Christ as we impact our community
Ephesians 4:11-13We believe that there is one true God who reveals himself to the world as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, commonly referred to today as the doctrine of the Trinity (Matthew 28:19).
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is our one and only Lord and Savior, that he was crucified as a sacrifice for our sins, and that he rose from the dead after three days, as he said he would (John 14:6, Acts 2:22-24).
We believe the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, leads us to experience the life God calls us to (Romans 8:14), guides us to live a fuller, more complete life (John 14:26), and intercedes for us in times of need (Romans 8:26).
We believe that the Bible is the one written message of God and is inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21).
We believe that when people repent and are baptized, their sins are forgiven, they receive the Holy Spirit, and they are added to Jesus’ church, his body (Acts 2:36-41).
We believe that a person is saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism (Ephesians 2:1-10, Romans 3:23-25, 1 Peter 3:21, Matthew 28:19-20).
